Amazon Employees for Climate Justice respects the privacy of our constituents. In order to better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected when you visit amazonclimatejustice.org (the “Website”). 

Information We Collect and How We Use It In the course of using the Website, we may collect your email addresses for our listserv, payment information for donations, and certain personal information when you sign up to be a volunteer. We may also aggregate non-personal information about how the Website is used. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which may record certain information when you visit. Visitor information is collected directly by Squarespace and is subject to Squarespace's own policies. We may use aggregate visitor information provided by Squarespace to analyze trends, administer our website, and track volume of usage; this information helps us measure the number of visitors to various sections of this website and to help make the website more useful.

We do not sell names or other personal information about our Website users and subscribers to mass marketers or any other entity, nor do we engage in exchanges of such information. AECJ is a fiscally sponsored project of 350 Seattle. If you make a donation to AECJ, the donation will be processed by 350 Seattle on our behalf. We otherwise do not share donor information with other organizations. 350 Seattle will collect and store some or all of the information that you provide, including name, address, phone number, and email address, and may share this information with AECJ. This information may be used to confirm your donation, provide organizational updates, and offer additional opportunities to support us. Online credit card donations are processed through a third-party service provider and we do not retain, store, sell or share your credit card information.

We protect our database by means of various technical and procedural measures, and we restrict access to your information by unauthorized persons. We require our third party service providers to comply with confidentiality requirements and to not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your consent.

We reserve the right to use personal information to protect the security or integrity of our Website; to protect against a threat to personal safety or destruction of property; to protect against legal liability; or to cooperate with government officials or parties in litigation, or as otherwise required by law.
